Evol @ The Primerdome (February 12th)
Jan 24th
Amok from DVSN Recordings (also the resident crew/label of The Mentat) hit me up to headline a party at The Primerdome on February 12th! Looks like my buddy John Perez will also be co-headlining.
I’m excited to play. Last time I played for him the crowd was definitely digging the darker, more gritty stuff I was throwing down. It’s definitely fun to cut loose and explore the dark side of the glitch and the dubbbbb. Don’t miss this one!
January / February 2011 (Update: 1/18/2011)
Jan 13th
Whoo! It’s been a while since I posted! That’s not to say that nothing has been going on. Actually, quite the opposite. Things have been great with the Whomp Truck. January’s First Friday celebration on the Santa Fe art walk was ridiculous as usual; it was only about 25 degrees F and we still had 100+ people there, easily. I can only imagine how crazy it’s going to be come Spring/Summer!!!
I’ll just hit the highlights here on what’s coming up in my world:
TOMORROW: MRK1 and ill-esha hitting Quixotes. I’ll be closing out the 2nd room from 1 to 2 AM after S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Also on the 2nd stage will be my Whomp Truck crewmate Coult 45.
Due to a booking conflict, Seied has been replaced by the amazing and talented Omega, who is sure to rock it every bit as hard!
Then after our shenanigans on Santa Fe we’re heading to a secret location to keep the party going with our headliner BIL BLESS. For anyone not familiar with Bil Bless (aka Son Of The Electric Ghost / S.O.T.E.G.), he is the dark knight of glitch hop (and beyond). Uncompromising, unapologetic, and unafraid to kick something original to your eardrums – and odds are good that you’ll be thankful for it by the end of the night!
Who are you people?
Nov 16th
Over the last year, I’ve averaged 12,384 total visits (99,714 hits).
So far this month I’m averaging 65 visits (423 hits) per day.
So… why don’t you friendly people leave a comment and say what’s up? I’d love to hear from you!
Thanks, as always, for your support and encouragement. Much love!!!
DBS turns 3 years old! (feat Salva @ City Hall!)
Oct 19th
That’s right, the Denver Bass Squad, CO’s hardest, dirtiest crew pushing that heavyweight sub rocker music is turning 3 years old. It’s hard to fathom how much we’ve all accomplished in such a short span of time. We’ve seen people like Samples and S.P.E.C.T.R.E. go from local talents playing in bars and small clubs to national headliners. Project Aspect has put in a lot of work, and is starting to make waves abroad with his heady and thoughtful productions. Willy Whompa is still kicking ass and taking names, keeping it real dirty.
So much I could say, but I’ll keep it short and sweet: this crew kicks ass, keeps it real and down to earth, and has no plans to stop anytime soon. Expect only to see things get bigger and better. I’m proud of all of them.
We’ll be bringing out Salva to headline our anniversary party on November 19th. Salva reps the much revered FriteNite crew from San Francisco along with NastyNasty and the ill lyricist Epcot. This is going to be a great night!
First Friday – October & November (feat Bird of Prey @ First Flight!)
Sep 30th
Yooo. It’s about that time agaaaaain. This month we’ll be at the art walk as usual, doing our whomp thang. Satori-C will be our badass guest of honor! You know we start things off early (7 PM), so come down and kick it with us! ![]()
And for November, we’ve got a great surprise in store. After the usual art walk festivities, we’ll be transporting the Whomp Truck to a warehouse location just a few blocks away and continuing the party until the sun comes up. Bird of Prey will be there throwing down his unique dubstep with that psychedelic, cerebral twist! Can’t wait for this!

Glitch.CZ podcast up!
Aug 25th
Heyyy there. Fellow glitch connoisseur and owner of glitch.cz, Ingtzi, asked me to do a mix and an interview, so here it is! All original tracks, everything you hear is all me (except the obvious vocal stems on remixes and one guest remix by MY MAN WILLY WHOMPA).
Download, share, spread the love!

Surefire Sound: Ginz – 8.19.2010
Aug 8th
Sub.Mission once again brings in some heavyweight help from the U.K.
Ginz has, along with his colleague Joker, been responsible for some of the B I G G E S T tunes of this last year: the Watch The Sun Come Up remix, Zero 7 remix, and Purple City were all products of this duo’s collaboration. Definitely will be a show not to miss.
So excited to be playing my first show for the Sub.Mission kids, whom I’ve known since before Sub.Mission even existed!
Come down and support!
